Tips for Perfect Eyebrows
Eyebrows are a natural frame for the eyes and should be in proportion to the face. Perfectly shaped eyebrows will enhance the look of your eyes, your face and will accentuate your makeup while; ill kept, unruly eyebrows will hide the beauty of your eyes.
1) Always follow your own natural brow line. The purpose of removing hairs is to shape the brows, not change it. The beginning of the brow should align with your nostrils.
2) Any hairs not covered by the pencil, come out. Go slowly so you don’t over tweeze. One hair at a time. Stop regularly and have a look in a large mirror to check your progress. Do one eye roughly then move on to the other.
How to pluck the eyebrows
* Start by drawing a thin “test-line” with your eyebrow pencil to define the shape before you start.
* The eyebrow should start above the inner corner of the eye (most eyebrows do already).
* Try to find a peak in your natural eyebrow and accentuate it by “plucking it forward”. If you can’t find a peak, try to make one above the outer area of the iris.
* The eyebrow should end outside the outer corner of the eye. If it doesn’t already, grab the pencil and start drawing!
Some people claim that after they’ve been plucking/waxing their eyebrows for a few months, they become totally immune to the pain. Eyebrow threading is an ancient method of hair removal that is still used in parts of the Middle and Far East. Thin, twisted cotton threads are rolled over untidy hairlines, mustaches and so on, plucking the offending hair.

Trichotillomania (TTM), or “trich” as it is commonly known, is an impulse control disorder characterized by the repeated urge to pull out scalp hair, eyelashes, beard hair, nose hair, pubic hair, eyebrows or other body hair.
Eyebrows are shaped and colored all the time. Today, there are a variety of pencils for the eyebrows, in different colors and brands. Using pencils for the eyebrows also enhances the beauty of the face. This is the most standard way to fill in the brows. The shape of your brow should follow the natural line of your brow bone. The arch should be highest at the outer corner of the pupil.
The first step in brow shape and design, is to determine the natural shape of your face. Pull your hair back so that you can see whether your face is more round, square, oval, heart-shaped, inverted pyramid, etc. According to respected makeup artists, there are 7 basic shapes, and most of us will fall into one of them. A simple rule to remember is that you never want to repeat a negative. So if you tend to have a very round face, you would not want to have brows that were very rounded.
